For the November edition of Taste Tuesdays we are celebrating one of the most anticipated seasons for chefs: the hunt. For a few weeks only, game season takes centre stage in kitchens across the world as menus are dedicated to the likes of thrush, woodcock, pigeons and wild duck.
The rising star of Parisian gastronomy, Vincent Crepel, will host a 6-course dinner dedicated to the bounty of game season, on Tuesday 13th November. A culinary globetrotter, Vincent has worked in some of the most lauded restaurants in the world, including 3 Michelin-starred Arzak in San Sebastian, 3-starred Philippe Rochat in Switzerland and 2-starred André Chian in Singapore.
Inspired by his time spent with Benoit Violier running the poultry section during game season at the City Hall of Switzerland, The Hunt is an homage to his former mentor and one of the greatest specialists of game gastronomy in Europe.
